In Morocco, traditional houses turn inward, towards a private courtyard of water and greenery. Alula brings that spirit to Hue.
The pool lies beneath a skylight, lined with emerald zellige-style tiles and framed by arches, carved-plaster screens, palms and lantern light. It is the only Moroccan-style pool in a boutique hotel in Vietnam.
